Who operates NEX
NEX is a product by Finvestco, established in the Netherlands (KvK 94329524, VAT/BTW NL004546549B97). Finvestco is the controller for personal data processed through NEX. You can reach us at info@finvestco.nl.
Account and contact data
When you create an account we process your email address, verification status and the credentials needed to sign you in. If you contact us by email, we process the content of that message so we can respond.
Uploaded documents and analysis data
Financial reports and other documents you upload are processed to produce the analysis you request, together with the results derived from them (extracted figures, metrics, risks and signals). We do not use uploaded documents for advertising and we do not sell uploaded content or derived data.
Technical and service data
Operating the service involves standard technical data such as request logs, error information, and records of usage needed for security, troubleshooting and account features such as remaining analyses.
Purposes of processing
We process data to provide and secure the service, to authenticate users and verify email addresses, to produce and return analysis results, to maintain account and analysis-usage records, to respond to requests, and to comply with legal obligations.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, processing is generally based on performance of a contract with you (providing the service and your account), our legitimate interests (security, service reliability and improvement), your consent where you provide optional information, and compliance with legal obligations.
Service providers
We rely on service providers for hosting and the operation of the NEX analysis service. Such providers process data on our instructions and only to deliver the service. We do not publish a processor list here; a current overview can be requested at info@finvestco.nl.
Retention
Personal data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described above, for the lifetime of your account, or for as long as required by law. Specific retention periods depend on the type of data and the systems involved; you can request current information at info@finvestco.nl.
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data, including encrypted transport and restricted access to production systems. No online service can be guaranteed to be entirely secure.
Your rights
Where the GDPR applies you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
Requests and complaints
To exercise any right, email info@finvestco.nl from the address linked to your account. We respond within a reasonable timeframe. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
International processing
Our providers may process or store data outside the European Economic Area. Where that occurs, we seek to ensure an appropriate transfer mechanism, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, is in place.
